Racism Today? Black Mother Refused Shelter As Sons Swept Away During Hurricane.

The bodies of Connor (age 4) and Brandon (age 2) Moore were found yesterday near each other in a swampy marsh after they were pulled from their mother's arms and swept away during Hurricane Sandy.

Glenda Moore was driving to a family member's house during the hurricane when her car was submerged in water.  She freed her boys from the car and held on to a tree while holding on to her children at the same times.   She then made her way up to a nearby house.  She reports that the man refused to let her inside.  She went to the back of the house and tried to break inside with a flower pot but to no avail.  A wave of floodwaters then rose and took her children.

Glenda's sister says:

“They answered the door and said, ‘I don’t know you. I’m not going to help you.....My sister’s like 5-foot-3, 130 pounds. She looks like a little girl. She’s going to come to you and you’re going to slam the door in her face and say, ‘I don’t know you, I can’t help you’?’”

Her cousin, Nancy, reports that she went to more than one house. 

‘I can’t believe the way she was treated by the people she went to for help,’ Nancy said.

"The first person she knocked on, she begged them and said: “Please call 911”."

"They told her: “I don’t know you” and closed the door. She tried another door but they turned the lights off."

Glenda spent the night on a doorstep until daybreak when she went to the police.

In this video report, they talk to the man who was apparently in the house she went to for help.

This is a really sad story. I can understand not opening your door if someone knocks, but if this man actually did look this woman with two small children in the face and say "I don't know you (go away)" in the midst of a raging hurricane, he is really heartless.

Some may correct that with the question "What IS COINTELPRO?"

COINTELPRO stands for Counter Intelligence Program and it was a secret FBI program that involved several continuous projects to infiltrate and destroy black revolutionary and political movements that posed a threat to the maintenance of the comfortable social order.

COINTELPRO was a secret until 1971 when an investigative agency raided the home of an FBI agent and shared the documents with news stations.

The main objectives found in the COINTELPRO documents were to discredit supposedly subversive movements and interfere with the ability of these groups to meet and work together effectively.

You can imagine what this meant for black civil rights leaders and groups that promoted the welfare of black America. They had no idea at the time that there was a larger machine in the government that was working directly against them.

Fake President Obama Birth VIDEO Proves Born in Kenya

A silent video has surfaced which is supposed to depict the birth of our President Barack Obama.  The video shows some actress who is supposed to be Obama's mother giving birth to a baby (who is obviously a few months old and much darker than Obama ever would be).  The camera jerks around and cuts to the name on the mother's chart (Ann Dunham) and the Kenyan flag on the bed.

The video was submitted by an anonymous Peter R. who claims that he has 15 more minutes of footage that he will release for the money Donald Trump is offering Obama for his passport and college records. 

Whoever made this video can't be serious.  First of all, the acting is really not believable and that baby looks nothing like Obama.   I laughed.  Anyway.

Man Gets in Trouble with Secret Service for Hanging Obama for Halloween

Eddie Million had no idea (eye roll) that hanging an Obama mask and costume outside of his home for an upcoming Halloween party would cause such a controversy.  After neighbors spread the story to local news, he was paid a visit by the cops.

This caused him to have second thoughts about the effigy.

“I started thinking how bad it looked, and I took it down immediately,” Million said.

However, the Secret Service was already onto him.  When agents visited his house they told him that his Halloween decoration of lynching President Obama could be taken as a serious threat.

“They said my name is going to be on file,” said Million. “They said they’re just going to make a note.”

They're onto him.  Why do people think they can feign ignorance when they try to pull this racist stuff.  They know exactly why they are doing it.

Was Sarah Palin's "Shuck and Jive" Comment Racist?

Are Sarah Palin's comments racist?

Sarah Palin has been facing criticism after using the term "shuck and jive" to describe President Obama's actions regarding the whole Libya situation.

She said “President Obama’s shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end.”

She responded to the allegations on her Facebook, explaining that there was nothing racist about the comments she made.  She has heard lots of politicians say it and she uses it at home when she wants her daughter to get on task.

"For the record, there was nothing remotely racist in my use of the phrase “shuck and jive” – a phrase which many people have used, including Chris Matthews, Andrew Cuomo, and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney to name a few off the top of my head. In fact, Andrew Cuomo also used the phrase in reference to Barack Obama, and the fact that Mr. Cuomo and I used the phrase in relation to President Obama signifies nothing out of the ordinary."

Houston's On Our Own. Gary Tells Daughter "Don't Bring Home a White Boy"

I really had no plans at all to watch this show.  None.

But for whatever reason I found myself watching and it did hold my attention.


There are a lot of things that can be discussed about these first episodes but one thing that stood out to me was the scene where Gary Houston warned his daughter, Rayah, not to bring a white boy home.  It made me kind of uncomfortable because if Bruce Jenner were to tell Kendall that she'd better not be dating a black boy on air, we wouldn't like it.

The second thing that stuck out to me was Bobbi Kristina's attachment to her boyfriend. She couldn't stay at her cousin's swim meet or even show up to practice with the acting coach Pat set up for her.   I have always hated when girls do that--they get a boyfriend and act like no one else exists or nothing else is important.

Sharmeka Moffitts story incited outrage from the black community this week.  She's the one who claimed that some men in white hoods set her on fire and wrote KKK on her car.  She's in a hospital with burns covering 60% of her body.  Officials now have reason to believe that she fabricated the whole story.  Her burns were self-inflicted and she wrote KKK on her car by her own hand.

Donald Trump and Toure Twitter Beef. Calls Toure a Racist

Donald Trump and Toure in a Twitter War

Who started it? Donald Trump or Toure. It seems that Donald Trump made a tweet that said

“I'll be making a major announcement on President Obama next week--stay tuned!”

Toure responded to the tweet with a " “No one cares.....You know, when your 'big' announcement turns out to be bullsh-t you're going to look like a fool. Oh wait, you already do.”

Sounds like fighting words to me.

Donald Trump returned:  " “When you are fired from MSNBC for your bad ratings and racist coverage, stop by and say hello.”

Toure replied: " “So, never? Ok.”

It seems that these two have been at odds in the past beginning when Donald Trump was so adamant about making the President present his birth certificate.

Man Posts "Hang In There Obama" Road Sign With Noose

A man in Redgranite, Washington is under fire for posting a controversial road sign in 'support' of President Obama.

The drawing says "Hang in there Obama" and has a noose drawn to the left of these words.  The man claims to be an Obama supporter and says the point of the sign is to make people think and rise to action.

Coca-Cola Billboard Ad is Racist, says Young Black Student

This young man says there is racism present in a Coca-Cola ad he saw in the suburbs of Atlanta.  The billboard ad shows three individuals seeming to represent three different Coca-Cola products.  The man in the middle is African-American and represents Powerade in Grape flavor.  The guy in the video makes mentions that he is also bald and wearing a sports jersey (fulfilling the stereotype that he plays basketball). To his left is a white male for Coca Cola (with lime) and to his right is a white woman for Sprite.
