Jackie Samuel can make $260 per day working as a professional cuddler. Through her business, "The Snuggery" she offers people the gift of touch. She charges $60 per hour and sees up to 30 men a week.
Why would anyone pay to cuddle with someone?
Jackie Samuel says:
"I think clients come to me for all
different kinds of reasons. Some of my older clients, their wives have
passed away, and they just need someone to be with, like someone to
experience touch with. Some
of the younger clients are between relationships, some are in
problematic relationships, and some people are just really curious and
they come to just find out what it's going to be like."
The snuggling occurs in her home and clients are not allowed to touch body parts covered by underwear. Despite this fact, some have called Samuel a prostitute and she has been threatened with expulsion from school. Nonetheless, business is going so well that she has hired another cuddler to help her with the demand.

Could you be a professional cuddler? I couldn't do it. Besides the safety issue, what about the clients that are not hygiene-ically correct? You have to lay there for an hour while some yuck-mouth is breathing stank-funkness in your face.....I'll pass.
