Garnier Fructis Can Set the Hair on Fire!
L'Oreal is being sued because one of their hair products, Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Anti-Frizz Serum, ignites at temperatures over 171 degrees. A teen was severely burned and disfigures after using a hot comb on her hair after applying the serum.
The lawsuits allege that there is no flammability warning on the product labels and many styling tools heat up to 450 degrees.
