Random Cute Video: Slow Loris Eating a Rice Ball

Isn't it cute.  It's called a slow loris.

Slow lorises are primates that come in five different species variations and are found in Southern Asia. In the wild they climb slowly and silently.  If they are disturbed or spotted, they freeze and cover their faces.  But don't be fooled, they will lunge into attack if they are cornered.

Something sad I read about them is that international dealers sometimes chip off or pull out their teeth as babies to give the impression that they are docile and tame.  This causes bleeding, shock and death due to improper care.  The slow loris' tend to be sick and underweight as a result when it's time to sell them.

But in cute news, here's a little video I came across while on Youtube.  I like how he grabs the rice with his hand as a little human kid would.

So cute.
