White Woman Wears Black Afro Wig and Learns

White Woman in Costume Afro Wig has Enriched Life.

I came across this through a post at post Post Bourgie .   Apparently there is a blog called Before and Afro , chronicling the journey of a white woman who experiences a constant shift in perspective by wearing a black afro wig.

Many black people find this offensive and take this as making a joke out of African American culture and heritage for fun and laughs.

To be fair, I have not read that much of her blog to determine exactly what she's getting out of this and many others haven't been able to figure it out either.  She has issued an apology for offending anyone and is now going to be wearing a blonde afro wig instead.  Hit the links above for more on this.
