Dogs Exhibit Contagious Yawning When Old Enough

We all know what it's like to yawn soon after someone else does. Did you know that dogs can feel that contagious urge also?

A new study took some puppies from 4-14 months old and engaged them in play.  They had the humans playing with them to yawn and recorded the dogs' responses.  Only the dogs who were over 7 months old seemed to yawn and become tired in response to the human doing the same thing first.

I didn't know dogs did this at all. Interesting.
