Christian Women Shouldn't Wait for Prince Charming
A pastor has written a new book called Fearless Women of the Bible.
The main point of the book is that women should stop waiting around for a man and focus on living lives of servitude and greatness.
I hate articles like this and the insinuation that women, particularly black African American Christian women, are single because they are sitting around waiting for a man to show up in the mail.
That is absolutely ridiculous. What woman is sitting in church looking for their perfect man to walk through the doors one Sunday? First of all, we all know that some men (well, people in general) come in the church and put on a front to meet women who will fall for their facade. Secondly, believe it or not, even Christian black women go to the grocery store and gas station and movies. They have friends who know people and see new faces everyday. They don't have to go to a club or drink to get exposure and meet a man.
I think that book should be directed at people, in general. He should be encouraging people to occupy themselves with self-improvement and enriching the lives of other.
